How the words are built
Finnish builds long words by joining shorter ones. Vuokra ("rent") plus antaja ("giver") gives vuokranantaja, the one who gives the rent out. Vuokra plus lainen (a suffix for a person connected to something) gives vuokralainen, the tenant. Recognising the pieces makes new words much easier to guess.
